  1. In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour and salt.
  2. Gradually add coconut milk and water, stirring until you get a smooth batter.
  3. Fill the string hopper maker with the prepared batter.
  4. Press the maker over a steamer or boiling water to form string hoppers.
  5. Steam for about 5-7 minutes until the string hoppers are cooked.
  6. Remove from the steamer and let them cool for a few minutes.
  7. Arrange the string hoppers on a plate and serve warm with your favorite curry or sambal.
