  1. Rinse the rice thoroughly and drain.
  2. In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the rice.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and cook the rice until it becomes soft and fully cooked.
  4. Once the rice is cooked, add coconut milk and salt, stirring continuously.
  5. Continue cooking and stirring until the mixture thickens and becomes creamy.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a flat serving dish and flatten it with a spatula.
  7. Let it cool for a while, then cut into diamond-shaped pieces.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite curry or sambal.
