Sri Lankan Ginger Beer Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups ginger, grated
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 8 cups water
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine grated ginger, sugar, and water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Strain the mixture to remove ginger solids.
- Add lemon juice to the strained liquid and mix well.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Serve cold and enjoy Sri Lankan Ginger Beer!
