Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked vermicelli noodles
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup rose syrup
- 1/4 cup sweet basil seeds (sabja)
- 1/4 cup chopped mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
- 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- Soak the sweet basil seeds (sabja) in waterfor about 30 minutes until they become jelly-like.
- In serving glasses, layer the vermicelli noodles, soaked sweet basil seeds, and chopped mixed nuts.
- Pour rose syrup over the layers.
- Top with milk and mix gently.
- Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
- Serve chilled and enjoy Sri Lankan Faluda!
